Not only are we accepted by Him – we are chosen. Other than accepting the gift of Jesus on the cross, there is nothing we can do to earn or work toward acceptance with God. How freeing is that fact?! Because God loves us so much, He did the work and made a way for us to come to Him, fully acknowledged as one of His own. So the next time we are tempted to seek approval from a person that will never give us what we desire –remember there is One who is always waiting for you with outstretched arms.
